Frequently Asked Questions

What kinds of frames can you make?

I offer three models of frames, along with an option for a full custom one.

How long do repairs take?

Depends on what you need! Full tube replacements can take a week or two, while more simple braze-on's have a pretty quick turnaround.

What kind of material do you make your bikes out of?

Steel is real! If you’d like to know about our tubing specifically, just ask.

Where are you located?
What kind of welding do you do and why?

I braze. Why? It looks sweet as hell. Bikes have been brazed for generations. It’s just about as strong as a TiG’ed bike, but no matter what you’ll bend a tube before my welds fail.

Why Steel?

Steel is the perfect material for a bike. Not only is it incredibly durable and strong, but it also looks great and keeps cost down. Steel is also the most repairable bike material, if something breaks, it is very easy to fix in comparison to carbon or aluminum. Take a look at this article if you’d like to know more.

Most frames are made to order. Depending on how full my books are usual lead time for a frame is one to two months.

How long does a frame take?
How long do repairs and add-ons take?

Repairs really depend on the severity of the damage. Not everything is saveable. Add-ons take anywhere to a week to a month depending on paint.

Does my frame or fork come with parts?

All stock frames and forks come with axles. Anything else is a conversation we can have before your purchase.

What is your warranty?

All frames and forks come with a two-year warranty for the original owner. This covers any kind of breakage under normal bike use.

Do I need to pay right now?

Yes. We require a deposit of 70% of total cost.
